Unlike other beaches in Costa Rica, Flamingo beach has no village center. So the community itself extends throughout the beachfront. There are numerous hotels and restaurants which are, (to say the least), absolutely amazing! The food here is delicious as it is all local and fresh. There are also some great spots to visit for some afternoon drinks such as Coco Loco, Mariner Inn and Money Bar.

Located in Punta Salinas, 75 km from Liberia, Flamingo beach is really THE spot for a fantastic getaway. The drive to Flamingo beach take you about 4 hours from San Jose and we recommend you take a 4×4 car in case you want to explore the area.
